          The tower furnace is a type different from the double flue boiler. This type of boiler has been widely used in power stations and is suitable for different capacities, different parameters, and different fuels. Its characteristics are: its height is low, easy to arrange, easy to maintain, the tail flue gas is downward, which is convenient for dust removal, and the blower is arranged at the bottom

          Due to the different design structures, the tower furnace is more superior overall. The tower furnace has a simple structure and fast construction speed. The furnace body consists of a main frame, a sub-frame, and an independent hot blast furnace frame. The overall suspension structure of the blast furnace makes its force direction unidirectional, which can be expanded arbitrarily and there is no stress concentration phenomenon. The suspension structure is regular and the support structure is simple. Although the total weight of the entire structure is about 15% heavier than that of the π-type furnace, due to the smaller number of beams and parts, its price is cheaper, so the price of the steel structure is similar to that of the π-type furnace; in addition, on large equipment such as air ducts and air preheaters, the tower suspension design is simple and there are fewer hangers, so the installation speed is faster.

Compared with the π-shaped blast furnace, the overall construction period of the tower blast furnace is shortened by nearly half a month.
